Richard & Prue along with their 3 children Poppy, Elsie and Freddie moved to “Outer Bald Blair” in January 2016 and became the 6th generation to bred Angus Cattle at OBB. Richard originally from the Riverina and Prue back in the home she grew up in, are enjoying the challenge of breeding commercially relevant cattle amongst a mixed grazing operation.
Fred Bell took on running the Stud in 1969 becoming the 5th generation in Australia to do so. He grew it significantly in the following decades, with an on-property bull sale beginning in 1984. He continues his involvement today with the Glenavon brand as a great mentor to both Richard, Prue & the team.
Having joined us in Feb 2007, Dan is a highly valued member of the Glenavon Team. He understands our breeding philosophy and has exceptional stock handling skills. Dan is responsible for overseeing our livestock in particular bulls and their sale preparation. Dan & Emma welcomed their daughter Penelope in 2016 and son Fraser in 2018.
Anthony and his family started with the Glenavon team March 2026. Anthony brings experience in pasture and livestock management from various environments and states throughout
Anna joined the Glenavon team in April 2023 predominantly in the office to help Prue and Richard with building the business. With a bachelor of Agribusiness and a passionate photographer, Anna will lead our social media and marketing efforts.
