Purchased in recent years, Stud sires NORN479 & SYAN340 arrive home from their brief holiday at Bovine Breeders for collection. Both were used in last years joining (N479 also used in 2018 & has some thumping calves that led our 200 day weights recently) and we expect to use them heavily in years to come. A spectacular Sunday, look at the blue sky. Prue and the children walking our stud heifers home to OBB on their ponies from “Tara” nearby. These heifers left OBB the first week of August and have been on agistment at Hay, joined at Tullibigeal, preg tested at Yaven Creek (and survived the fires), Wagga and came home to Guyra at the end of Jan. OBB has not had a cow on the place since Sept and being locked up has done it the world of good. We most sincerely thank all those families who have cared for these girls during the drought. ... It’s over. All cows are now home, as am I. We simply would not have our herd intact without the overwhelming generosity of some amazing people, for which we will forever be grateful.
